El proyecto SANTA MARIA es el resultado de un grupo de mujeres y madres que han reunido su fuerza y sus conocimientos en torno al cultivo del café.
 
El objetivo es la producción de café orgánico, trazable y bajo sombra. La certificación Manos de Mujeres implica que el café se produce en un entorno preservado y en unas condiciones sociales en las que las mujeres ocupan puestos de liderazgo en el proyecto.
 
Las mujeres realizan todas las tareas, desde las labores agrícolas (siembra, cosecha) hasta el procesado final del café.
 
Las variedades presentes en la finca son castillo, colombia, colombia amarillo, mocca, maragogype, caturra, tabi, typica, geisha, bourbon y wush wush. La finca es Rainforest, orgánica,
 
Manos de Mujeres y Bird Friendly.

The SANTA MARIA project is the result of a group of women and mothers who have gathered their strength and knowledge around coffee growing.
 
The objective is the production of organic, traceable coffee under shade.  The Manos de Mujeres certification implies that the coffee is produced in a preserved environment and under social conditions where women hold leadership positions in the project.
